Anna Lishchynska

Multilingual journalist, editor and strategic communications specialist with professional experience at leading European media outlets (ZDF) and newsrooms in Ukraine (LIVE, UA:Суспільне мовлення). My approach is based on three pillars: in-depth expertise in content, knowledge of four languages and mastery of modern digital tools.

My path into the media is a combination of classic journalism, a love of cinema and modern digital strategies. In five years of working for leading German and Ukrainian media outlets, I have learned to transform complex topics into exciting stories that are understandable to a global audience. My career is closely linked to the German television station ZDF: as part of the editorial team at ZDFzeit, I worked on the documentary series “Tatort Ukraine” and was responsible for the accuracy of the content and its translation from Russian and Ukrainian into German. In the programme department, I was involved in analysing scripts and participating in discussions about series such as “SOKO Köln” and “Ein Fall für zwei”.

My experience as a news editor at the television channel “LIVE”, the magazine “AgroTimes”, and “UA: Суспільне мовлення” has taught me how to conduct interviews, verify data in real time, and find unique experts in all niches.

Today, I successfully translate this journalistic background into effective digital strategies. At companies such as Kelvinfilm in the @zdfroyal project and TUFISHOP, I have built up communication on social networks, created a content plan and carried out data analysis. I also share my knowledge with others: at the “IT Capital” centre, I taught my own course on creative copywriting and storytelling.

My education: Master’s degree in journalism from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, bachelor’s degree from Kyiv National Linguistic University in German and English teaching, and I am currently completing a second bachelor’s degree at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in film studies and audiovisual journalism.

I am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, German (C1) and English (B2), which makes it easier for me to work in international teams, manage projects and create content that really resonates.
